Session 1 Opening Dinner is a
unique and joyful event at IH because it is the first formal
dinner held in the House which lets us welcome both new and
returning residents.
It is also a day for us to carry out our wonderful tradition
of taking the annual House Photograph, before attending the
Opening Dinner. The House Photograph is always a precious
souvenir especially after graduation or when residents leave
IH.
We have been taking the House Photograph at the Square House
Lawn for more than ten years now, so this year, for a change
of scenery, we took the photograph at International Square
with the monumental Scientia building as a backdrop. Speech
