Opening Dinner  

 

 

March 2006

Part of International House tradition, we stage a Formal Dinner at the beginning of the university session. Residents are encouraged to put on their national attires, giving rise to a vibrant multi-cultural atmosphere. Following the College annual photograph, we made our way to the beautifully decorated dining hall for an evening of performances, entertainment and delicious cuisine prepared by the Resident's Society, Seniors, and the Food Services Staff of the House.

May 2006

On the 5th of May, 2006 one of IHs major party was held and the theme was to dress up as anything beginning with the letter P. >>more

Foundation Day  

 

 

 

July 2006

International House Limited was incorporated as a public company in 1964. It was four years later in July 1968 that the House opened its doors to the first group of residents. The Foundation Day Dinner held the first Friday of the second session commemorates the opening of the House. A guest speaker delivers the address and the theme for the evening is “International Understanding”. This year the guest speaker is doctor Lincoln Lee a distinguished cardiologist and UNSW alumni.
