Paintball, or Skirmish as it is known, is a fast action packed adventurous sport that requires strategic thinking, quick reaction, courage and teamwork. The Paintball Trip is part of the Residents Society's effort to make social events for students at International House. Here the students come together in a different milieu to have some fun and to build strong relationships with fellow residents.

The Foundation Day commemorates the opening of the College during the
second session in 1968. The dinner is more formal than the Opening and
Closing Dinners of each session and member of the International House
Company and Board of Directors, many of who are ex-residents of the
House, are invited to attend.

As the last major social event held before the examination period, the Session 1 Closing Dinner was also a farewell as some of the residents were graduating and leaving the House.

Joan Wyborn has served as the Administrative Officer at International
House for the past 7 years. For the past two years she has
been working part time on Thursdays and Fridays. Friday 19
March was her last day at IH as she began a new phase of her
life by relocating to Noosa. All residents and staffs would
like to thanks Joan for the excellent service she has given
IH and wish her the very best.

13th- 14th March 2004
Twenty-two IH residents spent a wonderful weekend as guests of the Rotary Club of Orange North. The experience included a trip to the top of Mount Canobolas, Mount Panorama, Lake Canobolas, Cook Park, apple picking and also dine in at Robin and Juliette Tilston's (President of the Rotary Club) place.
