iVision was newly launched in August 2005 following its transformation from IHCC ( International House Charity Club ) . No sooner had it been launched that it started to spread its wings among residents throughout workshops, fund-raising programs and entertainments. The main objective of iVision is to promote partnership between IH residents with some social organizations to provide mutual benefits. Residents took the chance to learn new skills, ie sign language, during iVision workshops. Some charitable residents get directly involve in charity activity through iVision. In accordance with their emphasis on .Partnership., the iVision organized several programs , for instance a visit to the Hoban House and the .40 hour Famine. program together with World Vision .
A number of fund-raising activities were organized solely to benefit the needy people. This session only, those graceful efforts have included the child sponsorship under World Vision.s banner, the aid for earthquake victim and donation for NSW Deaf Association. Undoubtedly, the iVision added an ingredient to exciting community life at the college. Following their debut, certainly there are many awesome plans have yet to come soon in future .
