This year IH celebrated Easter by throwing a spectacular party
in the specially renovated games room. No longer a centre to demonstrate our athletic and sporting prowess, the games room was
transformed into a relaxed chill-out lounge where residents could enjoy the atmosphere and each others' company. It was also
mandatory to bring a pillow or soft toy - which gave everyone a nostalgic reminder of childhood sleepovers.
This event was also the culmination of the Secret Easter Bunny competition. Everyone's Secret Easter Bunny who had anonymously given them gifts and clues over the last week was revealed. As part of this, a competition for the most extreme Easter Bunny was held with the winner being agreed on unanimously. Although too outrageous to write about here, it involved wearing a towel, a motorbike helmet, Vienesse waltzes, police emergency tape, and midnight soirees around the campus hunting for clues.
Of course being Easter there was also plenty of chocolate going around, not to mention drinks and finger food. A big thanks goes out to Sarah, Jeeves, Rookie, and the rest of RESOC who helped make it an unforgettable Easter for all.
