The residents of the college are drawn
from a very diverse range of cultural, educational and social
backgrounds and we welcome applicants from both Australia and
overseas. We offer quality accommodation and a supportive environment
in order to assist and motivate residents to reach their full
intellectual and academic potential.
Simultaneously, we provide opportunities to residents to belong
to a collegiate community which emphasises experiential learning,

Pre-requisties:
1. You must be a full-time student at the University of New
South Wales.
2. You must be at least 18 years old and not a 1st year student straight from High School.

Application Procedure:
1. Download the application
form, print it, and complete it. To print the form you will
require Adobe Acrobat Reader which can be downloaded
for free.
2. Include a letter of application addressed to the Master of
International House. The letter should address your previous
experiences with communal living (if any), your reasons for
applying to International House, and what contributions you
expect to make to college life.
3. Letters of reference are optional.
4. Include a copy of your most recent academic transcript.
5. Attach electronically one recent passport size photograph.
6. Finally, to complete your application, attach a processing
fee of AUD $20, by bank draft, credit card or electronic transfer. Please see the application form for payment methods.
We prefer that you send your completed application including photo electronically. Applications for session 1 can be lodged from September until the 1st week of classes
and for session 2 from May until the 1st week of classes. Offers are made on an ongoing basis depending on availability or how well the applicant meets the selection
