Full-time Accomodation
The residents of the college are drawn
from a very diverse range of cultural, educational and social
backgrounds and we welcome applicants from both Australia and
overseas. We offer quality accommodation and a supportive environment
in order to assist and motivate residents to reach their full
intellectual and academic potential.
Simultaneously, we provide opportunities to residents to belong
to a collegiate community which emphasises experiential learning,
personal growth and cross-cultural understanding. ( For details

Pre-requisties:
1. You must be a full-time student at the University of New
South Wales.
2. You must be at least 18 years old.

Application Procedure:
1. Download (PDF, 20.3 KB) the application
form, print it, and complete it. To print the form you will
require Adobe Acrobat Reader which can be downloaded
for free.
2. Include a letter of application addressed to the Master of
International House. The letter should address your previous
experiences with communal living (if any), your reasons for
applying to International House, and what contributions you
expect to make to college life.
3. (optional) It is recommended that you include two letters of reference. The letters should be marked "confidential".
4. Include a copy of your most recent academic transcript.
5. Attach two recent passport size photographs.
6. Finally, to complete your application, attach a processing
fee of AUD $ 20 ( by bank draft or credit card information from
overseas applicants, please see the application form for payment
methods. )

If you wish your application to be considered as soon as possible,
you may fax your application and letters of application and
reference to (61 2) 9313 6346. We must, however, receive original
cheque, photographs, and letters of reference, through the mail,
before we can offer you a place. Applications for session 1 may be lodged
from September until 1st week of class and for session 2 from May until the
1st week of class.
Offers are made on an ongoing basis depending on availability and
how well the applicant meets the selection criteria.
